Jason Aldean celebrated his 26th career No. One single “If I Didn’t Love you” with Carrie Underwood yesterday, April 7th. The ACM “Single of the Year” and iHeart “Country Song of the Year” was praised for its multi-week run at Country radio while earning PLATINUM status from the RIAA and a Grammy nomination. Aldean and Underwood were joined by “If I Didn’t Love You” songwriters Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, John Morgan, and Lydia Vaughan.

“From the minute I first heard the demo of this song I knew I had to cut it, and a couple of weeks later Carrie was putting her vocal on it,” said Aldean. “We thought it was going to be good, but it ended up being really special. Big thank you to the writers, Carrie, Country radio, my team and everyone in this room who leaned in on this song – I’m really proud of it.”

“In this case, the old cliche ‘it all starts with a song’ is exactly how it happened,” added Underwood. “The stars lined up so quickly to make this happen, it was all meant to be. Thanks to everyone who helped give this song the light it deserves, it’s been really fun to be part of it.”

Tell us your favorite Jason Aldean related story. I was at his concert in Fort Wayne, IN in April of 2017. He was closer to my side of the stage. I waved at him and he smirked and waved back. The lady sitting behind me freaked out, then her husband said, “No, he was waving to that girl,” as he pointed to me. It was the best night of my life having Jason acknowledge me!

Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert joined forces for a highly anticipated collaboration on their new song, “Rolex® On A Redneck.”

In the last decade, they have swapped songs, toured together, and remained friends and advocates for each other’s careers.

“Aldean was one of those guys coming up that I looked up to as he’s a great song guy,” says Gilbert. “Back in the day, he cut a couple songs of mine, ‘My Kinda Party’ and ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ and he turned both of those into big ole hits, and I’ll forever be thankful for that.”

“Writing a song and having Aldean cut it is one thing, and that’s something I’ll always be thankful for and is a blessing in itself,” Gilbert adds. “But to be able to do a song with him, well, it’s a whole other level.”

“Brantley and I go way back,” added Aldean. “This song is just a straight up banger – it’s cool to be part of it with him.”

What’s one thing that sets you apart from other Jason Aldean fans? I grew up in a very small town and Country Music has always been a big part of my life and my family’s. Jason’s songs really hit home for me. I’ve been a huge fan since the day I heard Hicktown on the radio back in 2005.

Tell us your favorite Jason Aldean related story. I actually met Jason and his band years ago in Reno, in the Silver Legacy hotel elevator. I was so nervous. I’ve been a HUGE fan forever!

Jason Aldean has been named Country Radio Broadcasters 2022 Artist Humanitarian Award recipient.

Komen for the Cure, ACM Lifting Lives, Red Cross, and more. In his hometown of Macon, Georgia Aldean raised over $2 million for Artium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children’s Hospital, the region’s only dedicated pediatric facility. He has also supported Susan G. Komen chapters for over a decade, raising more than $4.1 million through ticket sales and events.

Aldean received the award during the CRS Honors on Wednesday, February 23. Following his award presentation, Alden revealed the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2022 inductees.

Jason Aldean announced that he will gear up for the road this summer with his ROCK N’ ROLL COWBOY TOUR. The tour will feature special guests Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver and span 34 cities.

“I’m ready to get back out and feel the nights come alive,” Aldean said. “We are already thinking about the setlist…there will be some songs off the new record like ‘Rock And Roll Cowboy,’ which felt like a great tour name because it’s all about knowing you belong on the road.”
