Jason & Bryan Adams’ CMT Crossroads Set to Air June 26th

Global mega-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will share the stage  with platinum selling and chart topping country rocker, Jason Aldean, when  the pair team up for the latest episode of CMT CROSSROADS.  CMT CROSSROADS:  BRYAN ADAMS AND JASON ALDEAN was taped before an invitation-only audience in Nashville the beginning of May and premieres  Friday, June 26 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT.

Bryan Adams is one of the world’s most  highly acclaimed musicians whose career has spanned more than three  decades.  Constantly in demand, the celebrated rocker is on the road  over 150 days a year playing rock n’ roll favorites (“Summer of 69,” “Run  To You,” “18 ‘Til I Die”, “It’s Only Love,” “Somebody,” “The Only Thing  That Looks Good On Me Is You”) to sold out audiences on six continents.   He continues to push those boundaries, becoming the first westerner  to play in both  Pakistan  and  Vietnam .  He has achieved No. 1 status in over 40 countries.  Holder of the record for  the longest running No. 1 hit in the history of the British charts  (16 weeks), Adams’ has had four No. 1 singles as well as racked up an  impressive array of Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, a Grammy Award,  American Music Awards, Juno Awards and ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards.  He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and has been  inducted into both the Canadian Juno Hall of Fame as well as Canada ’s  Walkway of Stars.  Adams  is also an acclaimed photographer with  three books to his credit.  All fees from his photographic projects  are donated to his namesake foundation that funds projects supporting the victims of wars and natural disasters and other disadvantaged individuals  and organizations.

After selling two million copies of his first two  albums, topping the charts with six consecutive smash hits (including  “Hicktown,” “Why,” “Amarillo Sky,” “Johnny Cash,” and “Laughed Until We  Cried,”, racking up industry awards and touring with country music’s  biggest superstars,  Jason Aldean is  running full throttle with the release of his third album Wide  Open.  The Georgia native turned heads with a huge opening week  for the new disc, selling over 100,000 copies to debut at No. 2 on the  Billboard Country Albums

chart and No. 4 on the all -genre  Billboard Top 200 chart.  The explosive lead single and fan favorite  “She’s Country” stormed up the radio charts to No. 1 and continues to be  one of the most digitally downloaded songs and ringtones in all genres.   With a calendar full of national television appearances and tour  dates, Aldean is looking forward to his busiest year to  date.
