The second stop on the 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR announcement event had Jason at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. “We’ve been lucky enough to sell out the amphitheater in Chicago a few times, and I’m excited to take this next step up to Wrigley Field,” said Aldean.  “This has always been an awesome city for us, and we’re going to pay the Chicago fans back by throwing the biggest party of the summer.”

For the final stop on the 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR announcement event, Jason surprised a crowd of UGA students and fans who thought they were attending a pep rally today, when a curtain dropped and he appeared on the Legion Field stage to announce that he will hold the first – and last – concert at Sanford Stadium on April 13, 2013.

“I told everybody who works with me that if we were going to play any stadiums at all this year, the one place I had to play was Sanford Stadium at the University of Georgia,” said Aldean. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for me, and I couldn’t be prouder to be from Georgia than I am right now. It’s going to be a big one…Go Dawgs!”

Jason kicked off this morning at Boston’s Fenway Park to announce that he will be making history as the first country artist to ever play the famed stadium. Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will be joining Jason at Fenway.

Jason then traveled to Chicago to announce that he will be playing in the legendary Wrigley Field. Kelly Clarkson, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will join Jason in Chicago.

Jason then made his way to the University of Georgia’s Legion Field and surprised the students who were attending a pep rally, that he will hold the first ever concert at Sanford Stadium. He then followed the surprise with a special performance for fans.
