Jason’s Six String Circus Tour will be featured in the first ever ‘CMT Concert of the Summer’ an immersive documentation that will bring fans directly into the summer’s biggest concert event, when the tour stops in Chicago for the Windy City LakeShake on June 19th.

The two-hour music extravaganza premiering this summer features ACM Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean along with superstars Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses, as well as surprise guests as they take the stage at Live Nation’s Windy Cindy LakeShake festival in Chicago, Illinois.

The inaugural event aims to amplify the concert going experience with exclusive on-the-scene and behind-the-scenes access including capturing artists pre-show rituals, the adrenaline fueled moment as they anxiously await to take the stage, as well as post-show thoughts from the unique POV of both the artists and the fans. Each year, CMT will proclaim one festival or event as the year’s concert of the summer and then bring it to life across all screens (television, online and social).

“It’s always cool when you’re approached about new ways to get music to your fans,” said Aldean. “So when CMT asked about coming out to LakeShake, I was immediately into it. We’re going to slap an all-access pass on them for the day and play until they pull the plug.”

After fans snatched every ticket in under 90 minutes to the first show (9/9), Aldean and Kid Rock will reconvene at the home of the Red Sox with Thomas Rhett, A Thousand Horses, and Dee Jay Silver.

Taking the stage for the first time since earning this year’s ACM “Entertainer of the Year” title, Jason Aldean celebrated with his hometown of Macon, GA, last night (4/22) while raising over $500,000 for Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health. Every ticket was instantly snatched to the exclusive event held at the city’s downtown historic Grand Opera House, as familiar faces were treated to an intimate stripped-down performance. The impressive amount of money raised by Bibb County benefits the only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia that enhances the lives of children through patient care, research and education.

“Pretty overwhelming the amount of money that was raised by the community of Macon last night and I couldn’t be more proud to call it my hometown,” shares Aldean. “Every single penny helps an organization that means a lot to me and I can’t thank everyone enough for helping these kids.
