Thousands of Nashville natives and tourists visiting for CMA Music Fest got a huge surprise tonight when Jason played an impromptu set outside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The performance was an ode to his new exhibit, “Jason Aldean: Asphalt Cowboy” presented by Field & Stream. The exhibit spans Jason’s entire career and runs through November 5th, 2017.

Jason Aldean will be getting his own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with a showcase opening on May 26th.

“I am extremely honored to be invited to have an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” said Jason. “That building is filled with the artists who helped create and shape country music, so to be a part of that legacy is something I am very proud of.”

An archivist has been cataloging memorabilia from Jason’s childhood in Georgia through his rise in Nashville, and the exhibit will focus on his impact on Country music.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will release its entire 2017 slate of exhibits this week, one a day, via social media.

Jason has been nominated for two CMT Awards, Male Video of the Year for “Lights Come On” and CMT Performance of the Year for “Hicktown” from CMT Concert of the Summer. The CMT Music Awards, hosted by Nashville’s Charles Esten, airs live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 7th at 8PM ET.

Today, Jason announced that he and his wife, Brittany, are expecting a new baby later this year.
