JASON ALDEAN SURPRISED WITH 31 NUMBER ONES PARTY AT THE COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR

Jason Aldean was surprised with a party celebrating his 31 number one hits. Hosted by BMG Americas’ President, Frontline Recordings Jon Loba and BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s EVP, Recorded Music JoJamie Hahr, the evening celebrated the two decades which have seen Aldean build a remarkable career with 13 Top 10 country albums and 31 number one hits at country radio.

Joined on stage by songwriters who helped craft his hits, Aldean said, “This is crazy…this is wild. I feel like this is every songwriter that’s ever written on my records. I had no idea about tonight – I thought I was coming to play one song and hang out for a minute and go home. Thank you so much for being here. All the writers here tonight are why I have a career so thank you so much. Between these guys and you all at country radio, Jon Loba, and everyone at BBR, thank you for tonight and for the last twenty years. I’m blown away.”

Superstars took the stage to honor Aldean with performances including Aldean’s favorite band Alabama (performing their hit and one of Aldean’s favorite’s “The Closer You Get,” which Aldean used to cover in his early sets), Blake Shelton (performing Aldean’s number one “When She Says Baby”) and Travis Tritt (performing Aldean’s number one “Night Train”). Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, of Florida Georgia Line, reunited to perform Aldean’s number hit that they co-wrote with Morgan Wallen and Jordan Schmidt, “You Make It Easy.” His 30th number one song “Whiskey Drink” was celebrated along with “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” which is actually Aldean’s 31st number one, and was performed by Aldean.
