JASON SMASHES TWO FENWAY ATTENDANCE RECORDS

July 15, 2013

Jason notched two more venue attendance records this weekend at Fenway Park breaking Paul McCartney's single night record and The Dave Matthews Band's two night record previously set in 2006.

Jason's two concerts were also the first country shows to ever be held at Boston's iconic Fenway Park. "I heard we also set a new all time record for beer sales," laughed Aldean. "They drank Boston dry...it was wild!"

The first show sold out in a record-setting seven minutes last fall prompting the addition of a second show which blew through every ticket in just 45 minutes. Both nights featured special guests Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.

"Boston is my kinda town," said Aldean. "There were fans in the streets partying all day, so they were ready when we hit the stage, and they just never let up…so neither did we! This was a huge night in my career and I think a big night for country music fans too…we were able to write some new history together here in Boston tonight."
